Boiler equipment
Turnkey supply of boiler equipment is one of the core business areas of Interenergo LLC. The company provides integrated engineering of boiler islands, including design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning. At further stages of the facilities’ operation, we provide warranty and post-warranty service of boiler units and boiler auxiliary systems.
The company’s technological solutions are based on the following types of boiler units:
- Tower-type boilers, including supercritical boilers running on solid, liquid and gaseous fuels;
- Traditional power boilers producing steam for steam turbines, with pressure and temperature of superheated steam varying from 1.2 MPa and 250°C to supercritical 28 MPa and 600-620°C;
- Hot water boilers and heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) for supplying hot water and heating for industrial, residential and public buildings, as well as for heating heat line water at TPPs;
- HRSGs that operate as part of combined cycle plants or CCGT additions at existing TPPs, covering the entire range of available gas turbine capacities from 8 to 370 MW;
- Industrial boilers producing steam both for steam turbines and for process needs of the facility. Boilers of this kind use industrial low calorific gases as fuel, e.g. coke oven gas, blast furnace gas and converter gas from metallurgical plants, as well as sorted municipal solid waste, and gases from chemical and petrochemical industries.
Boiler auxiliary equipment designed and supplied by our company includes:
- fuel treatment and fuel supply systems
- combustion systems, including industrial furnaces and burner devices
- draught equipment
- water treatment systems
- fuel oil and/or gas systems
- plant control systems, instrumentation, automation and control systems
- flue gas cleaning systems
- flue gas heat recovery systems
- flues
- other boiler auxiliary equipment, available upon request
In order to achieve optimal performance, high efficiency, and minimal carbon footprint of industrial facilities, we use the best available technologies. Moreover, we co-operate with manufacturers of gas cleaning equipment and offer integrated solutions for boiler plants, including cleaning flue gas from emissions of harmful substances, e.g. NOx, SOx and CO, as well as particulate matter. We give due attention to both primary and secondary cleaning procedures, such as improving the combustion system and cleaning exhaust flue gases.
Depending on the type and composition of the burned fuel, we develop and select a customised set of measures aimed at cleaning flue gas to match the standard values. Here are some of the methods that are most frequently used at Interenergo’s projects:
- Selective catalytic reduction of NOx, one of the main methods of flue gas purification from nitrogen oxides. The process is based on the ability of ammonia to selectively reduce nitrogen oxides in the presence of a catalyst at 200-500°C.
- Use of electrostatic filters. The technology is based on electrification of dispersed phase particles suspended in the gas and their subsequent deposition on an electrode with a charge opposite to that of the contaminant particles.
- Integration of absorbers of flue gas desulphurisation plants. The underlying principle of this method is the reaction between sulphur dioxide SO2 and slaked lime Ca(OH)2 under humid conditions.
- Installation of bag filters. The most widely used variety is filters with a cylindrical bag, which collect dust with a 99–99.9% efficiency.
Gas treatment systems
Interenergo provides integrated gas treatment and compression solutions for the oil & gas and power generation industries. Our equipment is used to treat any type of gas: natural gas, flare gas, hydrogen gas, coal mine gas, shale gas, and biogas.
Since each type of gas has distinctive physical and chemical properties, gas treatment at different stages of its use varies and, therefore, is carried out taking into account its particular type, composition and application.
Gas of any kind must be rid of solid particles, its flow rate must be monitored, and the pressure and temperature must be increased or decreased depending on the consumer’s needs.
We implement projects of any complexity starting from connecting to the gas pipeline all the way to the end consumer, including integrated deliveries of all necessary equipment, such as:
- automatic gas distribution stations of high factory readiness
- gas treatment facilities
- commercial and technological gas metering units
- gas reduction units
- booster compressor stations
- closed cooling systems
- gas heaters
- emergency and shut-off valves
Interenergo LLC performs the following range of works related to implementation and management of projects in the gas treatment sector:
- engineering and development of design solutions
- production
- delivery
- assembly
- pre-commissioning
- testing
- maintenance and warranty service
As systems are put into operation, our specialists provide routine and emergency technical support, along with equipment maintenance, modernisation and reconstruction services, ensuring end-to-end assistance at all stages of the equipment’s lifecycle.
In partnership with leading Russian and foreign manufacturers, we deliver projects of any complexity using natural and petroleum gas treatment and processing plants, compressor equipment, gas treatment and booster compressor units supplying fuel gas to gas turbine plants, turboexpanders, refrigeration units, air separation equipment, nitrogen air stations, pumping equipment, gas regulators and automated control systems.
